I am a Professor of Computer Science at East China Normal University. My research focuses on data processing systems across resource-constrained edge devices and cloud platforms, with a growing emphasis on LLM systems and AI for Science.
I work across parallel and distributed systems, storage systems, operating systems, and virtualization to address bottlenecks in computation, storage, and data movement. My work combines hardware–software co-design, SIMD/GPU acceleration, and emerging memory and storage architectures to improve system efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
My group has published in leading venues including ISCA, OSDI, VLDB, and EMNLP. Some of our research results have been applied in industry. My background in numerical simulation of railway structures and dynamics, together with industrial research in cloud computing and emerging storage technologies, grounds my systems research in the practical needs of science and engineering.
